Went to the Queen Mary and it is awful, run down, rude staff and management, place is dirty. Stayed on ship in hotel, disgusting, filthy rooms and over priced and can hear the next room as if they are in bed with you.
No staff to clean the room, carpet stained and sticky, not unique but actually very sad, makes Motel 6 look great!

Long Beach is not very safe. It DOES have a gang problem as does much of the Los Angeles area. There is graffiti everywhere..on sidewalks, on public property, on personal property, and on highway signs. The people are of low quality especially near downtown. There is a big homeless problem. I would not live there and I don't think it is worth visiting on vacation...if you want the beach, go to Santa Barbara instead.

I like this place, and I woud'nt hate to go back. It is convenience. It is a great place to visit and have family trips. You would hate to miss a chance of a life time. That is why I'm taking this offer.

its a scarey un safe place to be, nothing to do, its ghetto, but there are parties going on at night but the closer you are to the beach there the better the neighborhood

I grew up in Long Beach, being originally from the East Coast. I was born in Philly and left when I was two weeks old, so I know nothing about it. I really like Long Beach alot especially downtown. There's plenty to see and do in beautiful downtown Long Beach. Downtown Long Beach is way better than downtown Los Angeles, which is where I currently live. If you get the chance to go to Downtown Long Beach, go! You'll be so glad you did!

Many different neighborhoods all of varying degrees of affluenece and charm. A large waterfront that can be enjoyed in numerous ways. I like people because they was friendly but overall the place was nice and it have a wonderful weather and views.
