We spend 2 nights at the Cedar Lodge, in August 2008. The Lodge is just a few miles from Yosemite nevertheless we found that even in August, when aparentely the National Park is more croweded, it is preferable to stay inside the Park. The restaurant was the best, although nothing special neither. The quality of the service in general was very bad: ...
Stayed in the Yosemite View Lodge which had the worst customer service ever. The power was out for the hotel and there was no place to eat, no way to take a shower or even use the pool. The staff did not apologize nor did they even care! They had known of the power outage for days but did not bother to inform any with advance reservations. It was awful! The nearest place to get something is in Mariposa--a long 30 minutes away on a winding road.
