This place has a laid-back atmosphere, mud baths, great food & fine wine. Stay in town & everything is within one block of the hotel/spa. The grocery store has everything for a great picnic, fresh cheese & sides. We even won at the Geyserville casino. We Highly Recommend Calistoga !

Still a Friendly Townl

Of all the choices in Napa Valley I prefer tiny Calistoga. The super expensive snobby stores and wineries have not invaded charming little country town. Locals are friendly, food is good, shops are unique and locally owned.

Nice get-away weekend

It's close to the Culinary Institute of America (St. Helena)--great food, good service and a fun experience. Check out Brannon's restaurant in Calistoga plus Suzie's Bar for a tasty Bloody Maria. You can have a game of pool there too.
