The Inn at the Tides provides a great panoramic view of the bay, sunsets, etc. It is quiet and a very peaceful atmosphere. Rooms are clean. It is a little pricey, but since it is our choice for Christmas Eve and Day, we treat ourselves. The view is worth the price. Also, the restaurant is across the street and open for the holidays. The scenery is beautiful but the people are just rude. We stayed at the Jordan house on highway 1. It was just horrible!!!!!!!! We ended up leaving 4 days early. Could not leave fast enough.
