Baker California is in the Mojave Desert between Las Vegas and Los Angeles on I-15. It is notable for having one of the tallest thermometers in the world. There are several fast food restauraunts and convenience stores. It is a good quick stop on the way to Vegas or LA. It is also the gate way to Death Valley.
