Angels camp is beautiful place
but if I was you
I would watch your party goods
as the is beautiful place is in Calaveras County were the DA is tough on drugs

so leave your goodies at home, you most likly be busted and locked up, no nice guys out here.... there's saying go to a gig in this county with drugs get locked up for good
and they ...

If your interested in small town with great antique shops, movies, great dinning and reasonable hotel stays close to gambeling, snow, caverns and other activities try Angels Camp

The best place on earth!!

Angel Camp is the most beautiful places i have ever vacationed. It is nestled in the foothills of the sierra nevada mountains, the local people are the most friendly people you'd ever hope meet, and the cost of room and board was a steal. And I heard Mark Twain wrote the "Jumping Frog" there!! I give this fantastic find 5 stars. My family and I will go back every year!!
