I love Yuma its absolutely amazing! There is plenty of things to do.I lived on the camel farm for 4 years.I just moved.I miss it very much. But that is one thing you could do with the family is go to the sahiati camel farm or peanut patch!
I really like Yuma. It is only about a 2 + hour drive from Phoenix. I have family that live there. The drive can get really boring. There is not a whole of interesting scenery. I think I like it more because one of my favorite Sisters In Law lives there and she just makes you feel at home. I always feel real comfortable at her house. Plus it is that much closer to San Diego. Yuma isn't tiny anymore yet it isn't that big yet : )
You'v read the books, you'v seen the movie , well come see for yourself the real YUMA and touch the old Yuma, meet the people experiance the feeling of seeing it for yourself, don't just take my word for it, YUMA is one of a kind place it's friendly welcoming has every thing to offer the old west is still alive in YUMA, and the ...

La Fuente Motel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/30/05
This is a lovely motel with many extras such as microwave, refrigerator, magazines and HBO. The atmosphere we rated poor as the front desk people were very unfriendly and not helpful. We were with another couple who also felt the people who greeted us were extremely rude. There were no elevators to the 2nd floor with staff's attitude of ...

Winter in the Desert
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Even though the weather in the summer months is very hot, the winters make up for it. This is the best weather in the U.S. The winter months hold many activities, the population doubles or triples when the winter visitors (snow birds) come to town, most are very happy people, just glad to be out of the snow. The golf in Yuma is amazing, the ...

What a great place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Yuma is a great place to visit or live due to it's low humidity and pleasant weather conditions. About 3 months of the year are hot with temperatures from 105-120, but the heat is a dry heat. The fall through spring has an average temp of 80 degrees. The sky is generally always sunny and clear and there is much to do. There are 2 border ...

Yuma is a great place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/05
Safety, nice people, good prices on just about everything. Weather can be any nicer some where else. Overall great town to live in and raise a family.
Iloved every moment I spent in Yuma. Arrived Aug. 31 2005 for my 1st dove hunt. Stayed at the Best Western behind the new shopping center. The hotel is reasonably priced, super clean , excellent staff & a great free breakfast. BBQ at poolside was a blast. The Dove hunting was like nothing I could have imagined. There are so many birds the hunt only ...
