We spent a week at Gulf Shores for the first time last November and played Golf at 5 great courses. The area was not crowded and people was very friendly typical southern. I am a southern at heart and have roots in the south. The site seeing was very historical. Love that Red Neck Riveria, great place to visit from Ohio.
Loved it!!! We just returned at 1:30 AM. We stayed in a private beach house at the end of the pennisula in a Reed Real estate house. At any given time, we were practically the only ones on the beach. However, if you prefer the night life, Orange Beach would be for you. There is so much to do! If you go and have small kids, be sure to visit the ...
We've visited Gulf Shores 3 years in a row and we totally love it. Although it's a 9 hour drive from Arkansas, it's well worth it. I especially enjoy taking the family on walks along the beach at night and seeing the "electric blue" waves caused by the little jellyfish. We are looking forward to visiting Gulf Shores for ...
This was the first time in Gulf Shores and we loved it. At peak season the hotels/condos are SO High priced! There is so much to do, just take time and search the internet. Here's some things we did with our 6 year old. USS Alabama, gulf shores track, Fort morgan, flea market in mobile (fleamarketmobile.com) and just playing and digging for ...
Gulf shores is the BEST place I've EVER been. The sand is white and the ocean blue. There are always dolphin in the horizon and signs on airplanes soaring over the beach that are SO much fun to read. They have great hotels and places to eat. There are places to go ride amusement rides, bungee jump, and ride the BEST go-karts ever. There is even ...

Family friendly tradition. Great prices and easy to reach.
Vacation with a "homey" feel. Great fun for the kids and a slow pace for romance and relaxation.
Gulf shores has always been a part of my life. I have lived within 30 miles and even when it was strictly an island with a few cottages and a 2 lane beach road I have always loved it. In my generation it was our island to get away from even your small town life.

Let's go to the beach!

Gulf Shores is the best. I live in Alabama so its only a few hours away. You can get a hotel or condo to fit any budget. Me and the kids in a cosey condo on the beach or the whole family in a four room suite. Gulf Shores has it all. The atmosphere is great for families and also has a bit of a night life. Hands down...Gulf Shores best beach!
