We loved staying at the Willow Tree Cottage and were treated like family. The island is beautiful, pristine, and quaint. The people were very welcoming, but also did not ask too many questions. We biked from one of the island to the other over 2 days and spent the last day baking in the sun. Don't stay for more than 3 days or you'll lose its charm.

I loved our vacation stay on Dauphin Island.

The condo was perfect. I was trying to look up the Island to see if Hurricane Katrina did much damage. I hope not.

Its a wonderful vacation site and very tranquil.

The only dislikes are having to cross that bridge to shop for groceries, etc.. and the large rocks in the ocean probably from the oil rigs.

Dauphin Island is one of my all-time favorite places to visit. We considered retiring there last year, but then the storms were so bad we regretfully decided against it. Also, my husband is diabetic and has had heart problems and bypass surgery a few years ago, and I was very concerned about the lack of emergency services available on the island. ...

We love the island i call it mayberry by the sea we stay at the dolphin house bed and breakfast and go charter fishing with jim wright.
Always a great time and it cheap to stay there

Great Value for mid summer and a block from the beach. Rooms were really nice and clean. Always had hot water (big plus with me!!). Rooms also had HBO and a mini fridge. Perfect for anyone, including families. Really quiet.
