Great locationWhat a great hotel. Stayed in a room on the road side of the hotel as opposed to the canal side. It was interesting to watch the crowds on the main street. Spent several early mornings sitting at a table on the patio near the Grand Canal drinking coffee and watching the incredible flow of boat traffic. Fantastic HotelI have just come back from a 3 day break staying at the Hotel Principe with my friend and would recomend to stay at this hotel. It is just a stroll away from the railway station and water buses and resturants. The staff where very friendly and the rooms spotless. Our towels where changed morning and evening.

Good locationI wanted a hotel near the station and casino. This hotel fits the bill perfectly. It was very clean. I asked for a room with a view and got an excellent view of the Grand Hotel. I have Venice many times before and this stay was the best. It is not the hotel for you if you want to stay next door to St. Marks Square but if you want a good hotel ...5 of 6 Yahoo! Have stayed two times food is fantastic .staff most helpful going back againThere is nothing to dislike ,just make sure to book table if its a busy time.The Hotel is easy to get to from Airport.Also near to Railway and Coaches.Buy a Tourist Water Bus pass it gives you good value travel all over VENICE2 of 3 Yahoo! Grand SyleThis hotel was conveniently located for arrival by train and immediate access to the city and it provided first-rate value. The staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. Our room overlooked the Grand Canal, which was surprisingly noisy from very early until very late! Grand Principe is grand!This prince of a hotel is located about a block from the Sta. Lucia train station; the location could not be more perfect and convenient. The service was helpful and any request you made they tried to fulfill. The included breakfast was wonderful; one caveat is that it fills up quickly, especially weekends and you may have to wait for a seat. ...8 of 10 Yahoo! Wonderful Hotel!I stayed at this hotel for three days in Jan. 2002 and had a wonderful time. it was my first trip to venice, i found the hotel to be in a great location and the staff to be very helpful. the rooms were very nice with large bathrooms done almost entirely in marble, they were just beautiful. the breakfast was very good and plentiful each morning. i will gladly stay here on my next trip!You did not find this review helpful.15 of 17 Yahoo!
