The Gellert is a great romantic hotel and spa in Budapest. Breakfast buffet is superb, and free use of the baths and pools make this a good deal. Can't wait to go back.

The hotel needs some money to be spent it. It still has some of its original charm. The staff work hard on compensating the hotel's deficiancies. Older lady in housekeeping and the repeption people made our stay pleasent.
Don't expect a modern hotel but it's friendly place.

Simple nice place. Your's service is wery good. We nice relax in Your's place. The natural water springs of Bath are ideal for recreation and regeneration.

The spa is a fun, pampering experience and far more affordable here than anywhere in America. It can be a bit unnerving at first-- communal nudity? But it's gender divided and comfortable. You can keep your bathing suit on as you alternate from hot to cold water, but may feel more self-conscious if you do so. Definitely worth experiencing.

The front desk is helpfull only if you tip them heavily. However, if you want something the next day, they expect the same kind of tip, or they ignore you. We paid money(4000 ft) to have 4 postcards mailed March 7, 2005. Needless to say, none of our friends got the postcards - the front desk clerk just pocketed the money. To get a taxi from hotel ...
