Great location in the heart of Nice. Easy access to Old Town, the Pedestrian walkway and across from the ocean. In the morning hear the surf out your balcony, although try to get above the 5th floor so that the scooter and street noise is dimished. As a multiple time visitor to Nice this is one of the only places I stay.

We were in a maze to get there with the construction, however, parking underground although expensive was perfect and easy and secure. You can walk anywhere and the hotel and location were perfect. The 9th floor is a veranda with pool that overlooks the Med Sea, breathtaking view. Private beach area that you again have to pay for but worth it. I would recommend this place, safe and convenient.

The area around the hotel is "tourist trap central". The people are very arrogant and anti anyone who is not from NICE. The hotel is full of big businessmen and women so it does not have that beachy feel. The rooftop is a great view of the city. The front desk is like "not another tourist". They do not even care if you are starwoods gold or not.

The le meridian in nice was an excellent choice...

My husband and I have just returned from Nice, after a long weekend for our wedding anniversary.
The hotel couldn't be in a better position for shops, restaurants and the beach.
It has nice gardens opposite the entrance with plenty of taxi's if you need one (but at a price up to 30-40 Euros).
