This property is a classic looking South American hotel with well manicured, designed property. However the room I was given was resembled a 1960's motel room. The bed was like a rock with 2 little pillows and sort of prison like atmosphere. The bathroom was a slightly better. For $145, the value was very poor. I stayed, for less thru an agent, at the Dann Carlton previously and was totally satified

To begin with the hotel has the perfect location. When you go in everything is clean and the staff is the best. The pool is big and the food is grat. I attended a celebration and they make you fell like at home. It is indeed one of the best hotels in Barranquilla.

Not western standard but for Colombia it is 5 star all the way. Beautifull and clean. Great staff and food. I could not find any thing that I would change other than the pool water is to warm.

My stay at this hotel was very present. The outside is very well kept. It is a beautiful structure. The pool area is wonderful with tall palm trees and nice landscaping, very tropical and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, but furnishings are very much out of date, an upgrade in all furniture and curtains is needed. Overall service was good. Food at the restaurant was good as well.

The place smelled really bad and the people inthe suit next to mine were very loud and rude! I would ask for someone to go and shut them up but no one would do it. Room service was very rude to me. The bed sheets were dirty and no one would came and clean them.
