We stayed in the villas on the hill. they were very nice, and large...but a little expensive. you were almost too far from the pool and beach. we drove down each morning for breakfast...but if you don't mind cooking on your vacay they had a full kitchen in each unit. we had a great time, but i liked the more secluded beaches on the other side ...

The room was average with a $600 per night (check the resort fees, etc. adders). The restaurant was poor, and Cruz Bay was nothing special.

Great hotel, with fine service, nice people, great pool, very kid friendly. We booked this hotel with a great price on Yahoo travel and even the Westin commented on the price. Easy but costly transportation on their own ferry from St. Thomas. If cost is an issue, you can fine your own ferry ride on the public ferry.

Loved it. Not to be missed. Stay in the TimeShare Villas on the hill if you can(IMO). Best snorkling. Best beaches. Luxury. Please remember that you are on a Carribean Island, and not a big city at the Ritz. Some of the bad reviews are absurd - people like these should stay in the US.
