Loved the place, can't think of anything negative only that it was not a 4*, more like a 3* but besides that, good food, great staff and beautiful location. Going back this May.

First of all i arrived at a great airport. Its new and they only take one flight at a time. The trip from the airport to the hotel is 90 minutes and the road is not that good. Once you arrived to the hotel the chek in in very fast. Food was great and the beach incredible. You can see the corals at a very close proximity. I loved the hotel but its a couple and family hotel. Its not a party 24/7 hotel for that you should go to Punta Cana.

service was not good. If you have payed for gold service its not worth it. Our room was all the way at the end.

Management is very strong, they are always visible from early morning to late evening. They are always around guest areas, the buffet restaurant, the front desk, the specialty restaurants, the pool, the gardens, etc... ...

Just came back from Samana, had a great time. Food was very good, beach exellent, room very comfortable. Lots of fun for older kids, not so much for younger. We are hoping to go back next year.

This resort is a Caribbean Gem!
The flight into Samana was good. If you are taking Rum home, pack it in your checked luggage- some of the carry-ons are checked at random and any liquids will be taken. There is a small snack bar running now in the departure lounge.
