Relaxing, wonderful place for a vacation! Being away from the hustle and bustle was just what we wanted. The resort staff was always helpful. The beach is well cared for and you can snorkel under or around the dock. We also spent many hours at Rum Point, a true jewel of the Island.
I stayed at the Morrits Tortuga Club & Resort in November. This resort was beyond the most beautiful place I have ever been to. The things i most liked about it is that it is PERFECT for watching a sunrise in the morning and has all the activities that you could ever want to do. There's scuba diving, jet skis, water sailing, a gym, a pool ...
The location and quietness of morrits is it strongpoints. If you are looking for a place for a relaxing vacation this is it.The shallow waters around the resort give the children a large playground that gives Mom and Dad the ability to chill on the beach. The pools are large and never crowded and all have kids areas.
The snorkeling around the ...

Going Back in March 2008
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/08
We bought at Morritts and then Ivan blew through so we were unable to go until Nov 2007. It was great. We were poolside on the Quiet Pool and had a wonderful vacation. The restaurant Davids's opened while we were there and we enjoyed a great dinner there with our neighbors. All the staff was wonderful and we found our room to be clean and ...
Morritts is in a very quiet part of the Island and we loved that. But you absolutely need to rent a car unless you are a hard core scuba diver. Our 1 bedroom suite was poolside. The room was a little tired looking. The screen doors either did not work or had the screen busted out. The sliding patio doors would not lock, so you better trust your ...
The resort was excellent, the activities never ended. Excellent "off" resort activities nearby. Very family orientated, but great for single's and couples as well. The service was fantastic.

Fun in the Cayman's
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/14/07
Sept 2007, our first trip to the island was very enjoyable. Morritts Tortuga is a very clean and quiet place to stay, at least during the off season. The staff was friendly a accomidating and worked very hard to keep the rooms and grounds in top condition.
It is about a 30 min drive from downtown so it is not within the touristy confines of the ...

Theres nothing to dislike about this place. Its situated at the east end of the island away from all the hustle and bustle of Georgetown. The snorkeling is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The pool is great and the resort is right on the beach. If youre going on vacation, visit here last because nowhere else can compare.
