We loved everything about the Dorado Pacifico. We were treated like royalty the entire time. Everyone helped make it a very special vacation for us - from the housekeeping staff to the front desk to the bartenders/wait staff. The view, the room, the attention to detail - all were superb. You feel like you are in Mexico! We went Nov/06 and still lots of 'locals' which make you even forget about English. It is a real place to rest and enjoy good life which includes great service, great people and best of all, sit down ask for some drink and enjoy the view and the day!
I highly recommend it.

This hotel is great for familys. There are two slides and they are the funnest things. There is a swim-up bar and it is huge. They do really fun activities during the day. Also the rooms were very very nice and comfortable. I totally reccommend this hotel to familys. The beach is gorgous. And the Workers cant get better, they're excellent!

This hotel met all of our expectations for our first visit to Ixtapa. It was clean, we loved the pool & the beach. We had booked a non-smoking room, but were put in a smoking room/floor. This hotel filled all our needs wonderfully. Clean, friendly, beautiful pool, outdoor waiters, etc. The only negatives were the hard beds. Also, remember you're in Mexico at a 4 star hotel and don't expect the Ritz. It's a clean, nice place, very centrally located with tons of restaurants and shopping directly across the street. All 5 of us would go back in a heartbeat.
