Just got back from Banff on a ski weekend and stayed at the Caribou Lodge. The hotel was fantastic, great service, fantastic steaks and atmosphere at the Keg restaurant, comfy feather beds, and indoor hot pool to soak in after a long day at the hill. We plan to return!

This hotel was a nice hotel, clean rooms, parking, but a small bar. Not many rooms have any kind of view, but hey you're never in your room anyway.

my husband and i spent three days at the caribou lodge last september and we are due to go back in only two days, but this time for ten days! can't wait. the staff are friendly, the restaurant is top class for both breakfast and dinner and the rooms are lovely. we both found the location in easy walking distance of the town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

The hotel is pretty nice and clean. The room is kind of small. No air conditions. They put a fan in the room. We opened the window in order to sleep and in morning, we could hear the noise of the tour buses which was kind of annoying, especially tour buses usually leave early. Very cozy & comfortable. Relatively new. Very good restaurant & helpful hotel service. Heated underground parking. No pool but 2 inside hot tubs & a very limited exercise area. A bit of a walk from the main downtown area but quite managable. One of the earlier stops on the bus shuttles to the ski areas so you are almost assured of a good seat.

The rooms were comfortable. To be honest, it complimented the stay nicely, as you will be outdoors most of the time (in late summer/early fall when I visited) to enjoy the mountain views and hikes. The restaurant was great, giving me about twice as much food as I could ever eat. The staff was very helpful with local information.
