Was worried about staying at the property after seeing reviews. Went over the weekend with a group and it was a GREAT experience. The staff was uncommonly service oriented and took care of all my requests, the resturant was good with great service and my room was clean, crisp and quiet. I would recommend to travelers..for sure.
Hope you don't like wireless internet, 1-800 calls, or bottled water. All are available in the room, and all charge an extra fee. It seems that if you pay more, you should get more amenities, but it seems that the Sheraton Richmond West wants to nickel and dime you to death.

I recently visited for a conference. I was unhappy w/ cleanliness of room. There were toothpaste stains on the bathroom sink, urine stained toilet seat and dried hair throughout the shower/tub.Also there were dead bugs around the window seal and in the corners. I was not pleased W/ my room at all.
I stay in the West End frequently on business, and there is really only 2 reasons to stay at this hotel in my opinion. The 1st is Starwood points. The 2nd is the Shula's restaurant which is great for watching sports while eating dinner or having a drink.

Staff was friendly, service was great. Close to lots of attractions. Has business center and plenty of places to talk without having to sit in a bar.

Put my party of four couples in completely separate parts of the hotel. The complex is very large and confusing to navigate. They give out a map at the front desk.
