Horrible!I have used this hotel for business on a couple of occassions and it has been your basic Holiday Inn stay. However, the last time I went (Aug. 08) was not satisfactory at all. Not only was the bed extremely uncomfortable, but it had rust stains on the boxspring with holes everywhere. It was so dirty, I thought bugs were going to crawl out! It ...1 of 1 Yahoo! I don't know what happenMy wife and I stayed for a weeken for my b-day excellent!! Staff from top to bottom great! The manager even went so far as to replace my wife hair supplies!!! and then comp our room!! Super nice front desk peopleGreat location right on the river over looking Norfolk. Pet frendly Hotel.Super clean,GREAT STAFF. NICE NICE PLACE.

Best In PortsmouthI have now stayed at this hotel for 7 years and am 100% satisfied that i got more then my moinies worth. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable, and the suites are great! Elevators are fast, clean, and the staff at the Hotel is great. Only recommendation is the bar area needs to be open longer and they need live music. 5 Star ServiceMy experience with the Holiday Inn was excellent. Starting with the Sales Office a six months ago to our visit a few weeks ago. SATAN'S ARMPITThis was the worst hotel stay I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! The floor in my room was wet in front of the air conditioner.I called down to the front desk and was told I could bring my things to the first floor and that I could have a room there. Nothing Worked!Outside of my room, virtually nothing in the hotel worked except the ice machine.
I got a wireless adapter for my lap-top, and it was dead. They told me their system had a weak signal where my room was located, but I bought my own adapter, and it worked fine.

The Ultimate ExperienceThe atmosphere of this hotel was exciting. The front desk stafff was exceptional, from their excellent direction giving, their excellent customer service that went above and beyou the call of duty. The cleaning staff kept our room spotless.
