Not on the water. Unable to get anyone to answer the phone. Beds ok had better at a Holiday Inn. Not worth the money. I would advise you to look for some place else.

Website misleading
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/24/08
The hotel website advertised this as a waterfront hotel. It's close, but no where near waterfront. The staff was rude. There was a huge, ugly stain on the carpet in our room. This room was overpriced for the location and amenities. Didn't even have laundry facilities on site. Parking was extremely limited and hi-speed wifi wasn't hi-speed at all.
We came here after leaving the vile Salem Inn. Compared to that place this hotel was heaven. If you are looking for a reasonably priced clean and pleasant place to base yourself the Waterfront is great. There are no frills and no historic charm, but I find that historic charm often means dirty old carpets and worn furniture. This hotel is clean ...

Great Location, Very Nice Accomodations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/14/08
The location on the Salem Waterfront is perfect for a visit to Boston's North Shore. All the local sites in Salem are within walking distance; House of Seven Gables, Witch Museum, Custom House, Peabody Essex Museum, Federal District Homes. Commuter train is nearby for trips into Boston or North to Cape Ann Beaches. This is a new property and ...

VERY NOISY MANAGEMENT IGNORED OUR MAJOR PROBLEM MAKE SURE YOU ARE A MILLION MILES AWAY FROM THE BAR AND BALLROOM I WOULD NOT HAVE MY DEAF DOG STAY HERE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE
This will definitely be my hotel of choice when visiting Salem. It was centrally located to the sites that we wanted to see. The hotel was clean; the service was extremely friendly. Our room was huge and included all the amenities that we needed. Other than the fact that there's not a beach outside the front door, I really had no complaints ...

I won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/22/07
It's hardle a waterfront hotel. Pictures on the web give an ilusion of a luxury hotel but it is very functional with little amenities - not even a decent obby to sit in. Pricy compared to other places and staff extremely unaccommodating - we just wanted one hour extension on check out. I won't go back to this place.

Didn't like the front desk service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/16/07
We enjoyed our stay but there was no flexibility at the front desk. There were so many parking spots available and we needed to have guest parking for about two hours. The hotel refused it. It was ridiculous because we had an expensive suite and were there for a long stay and spent much money there but still the power-happy little man on the ...
We stayed here at this Hotel and the experience was fantastic. The place is located on the water. What Beautiful site to see. The festival was one of the best times I had. I been to Salem before But did not stay in a hotel. The place was outstanding clean and the price was just right. No smoking aloud at all in the hotel though But that is quit ...
