the best hotel/resort in the punta cana. I think that me and my family will go back there next year.

Hope you don't like to eat.....

We were disappointed with out stay. Pool was to close at 8 but they would close at 6 with no reason why. Food was like home town buffet. Drinks were never consistent from bar to bar. They have a japanese steakhouse that accepts "no reservations" but you basically had to check back 5 times to see if you could be fit in for the night. The staff was nice, but i would have NO desire to return back.
I went to Dreams for 4 day trip with my family. Hotel is nice and clean but houskeeping very very bad!!!! out of my 3 nights I have to call every evening to houskeeping to come clean my room... after all day at the beach when you come back to your room and you dont even have clean towels its very frustrating!!! I asked front desk for wake up call ...

Wouldn't Go Again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/09
Liked the beauty of the place, but too far from airport. Property was beautiful, but rooms were in desperate need of repair. Key cards (for room doors) repeatedly failed to work, toilet ran 24/7, ceiling above vanity was leaking and sagging, fruit flies on sliced fruit in World Cafe, flies everywhere in restaurants, poor food handling practices ...

Awesome experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/09
Great place to stay. We had a very smooth arrival and great experience for 9 days. Some of our friends traveling with us had minor room issues while we were there, but the staff quickly handled the issues, repairs, etc. The staff at this hotel is very friendly, responsive and good service. The food was great... make sure you go to the Oceana ...
I traveled to a destination wedding as a guest. My first night was questionable; we arrived late. However, the next morning we discovered a clean resort with staff that was more than willing to accommodate our wishes. I had a small problem (intestinally) on day one and then my spouse reminded me NOT to brush teeth with tap water. After that, all ...
We went on our honeymoon and chose this place over Aruba which was a mistake. My wife and I got stomach pains after the second day that remained with us until after we returned home 7 days later and went to the doctor (mind you I have lived in South America previously). Other travelers complained of this as well. The pool was large and they had ...
The DR is a pretty new resort destination, so I think it's still catching up to other Caribbean locations as far as quality of vacation. If you're a no frills person just looking for a beautiful tropical location for a vacation, this is it. The pool is large, but never gets any deeper than 3 feet. Most people hang out at the end of the pool ...

Please keep racist comments to yourself!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/09
Jessica G, I can understand if you might not like this place, but keep your ignorant racist comments, ("If you are caucasian, old and boring I would recommend this resort.") to yourself! This is a travel site not a hate site!

this was really an awful hotel. no customer service or management. the food tastes the same no matter what you eat. the only edible food was in the hibachi rest. you have to be there quite eary to get a seat. the lobby bar is like sitting in the student union at a university. that god we were with a group on business as a bit of a diversion. the ...
