This is the best food and atmosphere around...awesome menu and generous portions. Not to mention the owner is one hunky guy. I sure wish he was on the menu...sex pot.

My husband and I eat at the Pier all the time. It's one of our favorite restaurants in the area, including New Orleans and Covington/Mandeville! The fried seafood is done the way it should be and the specials are awesome. The big screens make it a great place to watch the game, too. BTW, I've NEVER seen minors drinking there. The older you get, the younger people seem!!

My experience at Pier One-Twelve was horrible. There were several CLEARLY underage people drinking at the bar accompanied by whom I can only assume is the owner. The entire time I was there I did not see a single waitress ask to see anyone's ID who they were serving alcohol. The food was mediocre and was too pricey for the portions they served. ...

My wife and I eat there fairly often. The menu has a lot of different price points depending on what you like to eat, and their specials are usually out of this world. I absolutely LOVE the fried green tomatoes!

Went for lunch today, had the fried green tomatoes with remoulade sauce. Tomatoes great, homemade remoulade sauce, not. He had the hamburger steak with gravy and fries-very good, and I had the catfish/hushpuppies/fries-also very good. The homemade tartar sauce was pickles and mayo though. We will come back, and bring others but we'll bring our own condiments-this food is too good to pass up just because their sauces are bad.

Went to Pier One Twelve for lunch. Seafood platter was great! Some pieces of the catfish were mushy and had a less than pleasant fishy taste to it but the shrimp and oysters are very good! I will definitely go back.

Less than fair food........fair service....atmosphere poor....over priced....does not come close to the other dining spots with equal $$$$$.
