The only thing that qualifies this place as a "resort" is its' location on Lake Michigan. The lake's beach is beautiful and the resort is surrounded by a well kept state park.

This property is a gem! Spectacular sunrises over Lake Michigan, hiking trails, private beach, bonfire pits. The price is more than reasonable and the staff were amazing!!!

This will become an annual vacation for my family.

If you want to stay close to the city this is the place to go. Very close to Lake Michigan. Awesome views from our room and also from the restaurant. Everybody is very helpfull. Food is better then some upscale restaurants and prices are very affordable. What a hidden gem

service was tramendous!!!! they did everything they could and that we asked for!!! just call the front desk...they'll get it done!!!! food in the restaraunt was delicious and the view of the lake at sunrise was breathtaking!!!! i will come back over and over again!!!

We only ate there. We started to eat outside. The view wasn't the greatest. The spider webs with nats in them should of been cleaned up. The smoke from the torchs was also blowing in our face. The service was terrible. These kids had no idea how the food was and could't ever pronounce the words of some of the dishes. With all the water ...

The maitre-d in the restaurant is not very friendly. Housekeeper Donna ans Rosa are doing a great job. Food is great, servers are great. We'll be back. Thanks for all the help you're giving to CTCA

Horrible rooms, extremely unfriendly staff, bad location, dirty, poor upkeep, expensive, boring resort. This was the worst vacation I have ever been on. The facility was in poor condition and the staff made the stay even worse by constantly harassing us. I would never recommend this resort to anyone. STAY AWAY!!!

Illinois Beach Resort was a WONDERFUL experience for my family and myself. We were treated wonderfully. The room was clean and awesome. The beds were PERFECT!! The pool was WONDERFUL!!!!!
