My fiance and I ate here last night and it was 10 stars in my book! The waitress was very helpful in our venture of sushi picking. We were not sure any buffet would be worth 17.95 a person.. however it would have been worth 30! Unlimited crab both hot and cold, hibachi grill where the man cooks exactly what YOU order.. I work near Makino Buffet and I eat lunch there occasionally. It's very good. I go mainly for the sushi which is always tasty & fresh. Plus, there's a nice variety. There's also a fruit buffet, hibachi section, & chinese buffet. It's a ton of food to choose from for a very reasonable price. With drink & tip, lunch runs me about $12. ...

We ate at Makinos for the first time last week, and we love it! We're planning on going back there today. The hibachi was delicious and they have a nice selection of sushi. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I think our server thought we were crazy because we kept asking if the sushi really was all you can eat. We thought it was too good to be true :)

We ate there today for lunch. It was great. If you don't like sushi there are plenty of other great food items to eat. The lunch buffet price was reasonable and the staff were friendly. I am looking forward to going again soon. Some of the items that I enjoyed were the coconut shrimp, crab soup, shrimp grill and other food items that you don't see around at other restaurants. Lunch last to 3pm and Dinner starts at 5pm.

For starters, the hibachi is fair. Misaki is much better. Sushi is good but have had much better other places. Dinner buffet is 17.95 and I guess is worth it for the seafood part. Most of the buffet stuff was cold and not very fresh. The crab leg were good but served chilled over ice. The wait staff was not very friendly and they charge 17.95 ...

This is the best buffet resteraunt I have ever been to. I drove 3 hours to knoxville to eat there, and I would recomend it to anyone. I wish there where more Makino's spread out everywhere. The Service is great, the food is delicous.Very upscale! The price is very acceptable. This is now my favorite resteraunt.

Love this place!! Trying to find the money to go again tomorrow. The first time I went, I filled up my wonderfully large plate full of sushi and turned around to find another sushi table. Excellent, plentiful sushi and outstanding hibachi.

Excellent food. Great selection. Reasonable Price. Very courteous staff. My wife is from Mainland Japan and I'm American. She is a very picky eater and gave this place two thumbs up. I loved the sushi as well as the crablegs. I'm sure there is no place like it in Knoxville.

This is very nice place. I frequent this restaurant so many times every month. Under $20.00 for dinner gets you all you care to eat ribeye, scallops, shrimp, oysters, crab legs, and to top it all off....SUSHI! They also have very good service.Maybe you cannot find food like this anywhere in Knoxville.
