My husband and I went in to 18 miles for dinner after the remodel. It is still just a glorified taco stand. Nice painting in second room, but notice when you walk by the kitchen there are more microwaves in the kitchen than there are cooks. Fresh??? I dont think so?? The inside is nice and colorful. Service was great. I ordered two chicken enchiladas, rice, and refried beans. The beans were not hot, and the rice was not spanish rice. It was really white, fluffly, and had some carrots mixed in it. It had no flavor and just looked weird. The enchiladas tasted too much like tomato paste, and the sauce was ...1 of 5 Yahoo! I just came from 18 after having what had to be the best Mexican dinner I have had in my life. I travel around the country and often look to those that I work with for great places to eat.

18 miles gets it right with the patio seating and nice portions of decent-but bland-Tex Mex food.
The down sides are no beer and wine and the entree selections are very overpriced. The chips and salsa are not even complimentary. The salsa bar is a welcome addition-but there is still nothing exciting that makes you want to come back. It is conveniently located for downtown shoppers and employees.OVERALL
