Can't wait to go next winterRead so many negative reviews about the place on other websites but found them WRONG. It is what you make it. Was a wonderful time. Clean villas, great food(you pick it. you eat it) Lovely beaches, clear ocean. Very appreciative staff and very friendly. So very many things to do. Fellow guests were friendly and enthusiastic.

never againWe visited guardalavaca Club Amigo January 19/09 to February 2/09. we were in what they called the "Bungalows" - NOT - they were 2 story motel style buildings, staff at both receptions were rude and unhelpful. apparently the villas were nice, the hotel was so so and the bungalows are absolutely not recommended, so do not get caught in ...1 of 2 Yahoo! Complainers (I had a great time)I see one reviewer has chosen to say bad things about this hotel. I once again just came back from Club Amigo and had a great time. People have to remember that Cuba was hit hard by the latest hurricanes. So you have to realize that the food supply would be low and things are not quite as pristine as a few years back, however, it is still a great ...7 of 7 Yahoo! the people stole my stuff,

Amazing **********I went on a one week vacation to Club Amigo and had the best time. The staff were excellent, the food was great, location was perfect. There was always something to do (it didnt matter the time of day), and the nightly entertainment was amazing. already packed to go backstayed in the villas and could not find a nicer view, rooms where very clean and kept that way. people and atmosphere where top notch. shows different every night. 24 hr. bar great for early risers like us to get up and go for a quiet coffee and watch to sun come up or just read without disturbing anyone. go once and you are hooked. cannot think of ...9 of 9 Yahoo! I won't go any where elseWe went there for a month and all I can say is this place felt more like a home then my own home. The staff became friends almost instantly and the activities were endless. i love itI liked the views, the food, the great clear beaches and the people in cuba.
The people are so freindly some well spoken english.
The bedrooms are beutiful nice and light the entertament is just magical!
the swimming polls are great for the kids and the adults you can play sports in the swimming pool and play sports on the beach.
