With the knowledge Egypt isn't known for its cuisine, the food in Happy Life still is bad. I guess they cook the meat to a leathery-dry texture in order to get the germs out. This didn't do the trick however. A shame cause the rest was very reasonable.

A beautiful location, secluded from the rest of the town. Right on the beach with high desert mountains to the back and sides. Nice road between the ocean and mountains - great for walks, etc. Nice meals too (buffet).

The hotel is quite far from Dahab and the shuttle times are not very convenient; a regular taxi costs LE 30-40 each way. ...

the place is really coool!!!I advise everybody to stay there!!!I liked the reef, the discos, the place the people, the breakfasts, the pool and other things. I disliked: the road leading to the hotel, dinners and I think that that is it!!!just a fantastic place to stay...
