Old Dirty Hotel Run By Communist Gov'tThis is not a 4 star hotel. It is a Communist Party dump. The rooms were disgustingly dirty and wreaked of cigarette smoke. Our tour group had to refuse all of our rooms and re-book another hotel in the city. It was reserved by our tour company because the price was probably right...dirt cheap. a lovely place to stay in xianThe Purple Mountain Hotel was a wonderful place to stay when I was in China. Beautiful rooms and service.
