Terrific location but staffed by odd, rude and uninformed people.
Odd: arriving in the city I phoned to get more specific directions and as we neared the hotel was told to go in the wrong direction of a one way street. "Don't worry if you see any police", said she. At our arrival, the same person was beside herself with everything ...

This hotel's location is great! It is right in the center of Aix, and also right next door to a Calisson shop ;)
The only issue I had with the hotel was the night staff-a very grumpy man! And although breakfast was 9 euros, it was worth it!

The only good thing I can say about the place is that it is close to the restaurants and cafe's. Small tight and cramped rooms. No air conditioning. Small bath tubs with hand showers. They had a dog barking in the court yard during the day. When I asked to be moved to the rear where there was no dog, the response was the dog would be ...
