The first dat of my arrival we realised you just pushed the door and anyone could walk in to your room. The hotel was in need of some renovations although we were told there was a pool. There was a pool with no water and full of dirt ?? water was turned off so had to go and request to have a shower. The cleaning staff were nice and friendly although I would never stay at this place every again. Although would stay at hotels in mandeville.

The only good thing about this place was its location and the friendly staff. That was important but, the food, cleanliness, and appearance was horrible. We felt deceived when we arrived there. I would never recommend this place to not even an enemy!

Loved it, the staff is wonderful and friendly. The hotel is quite nice and a great location to travel Jamaica. The food is local, fresh and tasty. I would recommend to any blue roads traveler

I liked the Astra Inn's appearance, the service, and the fact that it houses a program to train young people to enter the hospitality industry. It is important to me that the hotel also is the home of Community Tourism CountryStyle Tours--more of your tourism dollars circulate in the community and not some large global corporation.
