The service, which is very important to me, was excellent. Friendly staff who welcomed me, asked me if I needed anything, gave me a room with a nice view because I asked for it and thanked me for my business.

This is a decent enough hotel - high speed access, big ol, bed, ESPN and the like. But what made it a good experience was the ridiculously nice staff that saw to our every need during the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. These guys paid for our cabs, bought us coffee and bagels, etc. Wow. Oh, AND it happens to be pretty cheap :)

I was happy to find the room was large, clean, and nicely decorated. A great deal.
