The staff and the valets at this hotel are awesome and if you want a true feel for the stockyards, this is the place to stay.

My only complaints were the bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, if you have a bad back avoid it and the shower had -0- water pressure and you were lucky if you had any hot water.

Those things said, it was still a great experience.

We liked everything,roon, location, and friendly and competent staff. The resturants in the close area including bars are exceptional, the shopping is unique and amazing, and Billy Bob' around the corner is such a blast...

The rooms have a perfect, western ambience. Very Quiet, although there are many rooms.
I had to turn on the heat, and the filters were obviously clean.
I requested some Advil twice. The desk did not have any, so a valet ran down the street and picked up two for me. Cool huh?

What a great place to stay for labor day. I would recommend this place for a family, couple, young, and old. If you have not gone to stay you must go. There is history and fun all in one location. The bar and restaurant are also great.
