Free parking was "only" decent service!!!!!My family's recent stay at this Best Western left quite a bit to be desired. No towels or toilet paper in our room. It took several calls and a trip to the laundry room to finally get these items. We requested a cot for one of our children to sleep on. It was a blow-up mattress that evidently had a hole in it. Wouldn't stay there again.Stayed there 3 nights over spring break and was disappointed with up-keep of hotel. One elevator was out, washing machine & water fountain were broken. What were we thinking!?When we first approched the hotel in our car I thought it might be enjoyable. First of all before checking in I noticed one wing of the hotel was being remodeled. When we opened the door the stench of smoke hit us, grosssss. We did ask for non-smoking, I guess we didn't get that. The room didn't come with a remote control. Pretty good overall experienceI traveled to Galveston to attend NASA and Moody Gardens along with a little time on the beach in mid-January. The location of the hotel is fantastic and is easy to find near one of the major intersections on the island. Great Convience & Employees !!We stay at the Best Western Beachfront about twice a year. They along with The Shriners oraganization are the greatest! Great place to stay at in GalvestonI loved this Best Western. The hotel was easy to find. It was right across the street from the beach, so the beach was easy to walk to at any time. Great fall escape!!!!!!!!The Best Western Beachfront is a very good economical hotel. It is in a good location across the street from the beautiful Galveston beaches. I like the fall, less people and the weather is great. This hotel has one of the best heated pool and large enough to really swim. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
