I am a Katrina victim and stayed here after the hurricane. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and concerned staff. The rooms were comfortable and affordable. The staff was excellent and caring. I couldn't have asked for more. They were wonderful. Thanks again. Dawn DiChiara-Way

Budget hotel experience, but not super cheap rates

In comparison to the other hotel options in Baytown, the La Quinta probably isn't bad. The room was clean, but it smelled like smoke despite being designated "smoke free". The air conditioning was very loud and the TV remote was broken. The staff promptly brought us batteries for the remote, but that didn't fix the problem. The free breakfast was fine - juices, coffee, pre-packaged muffins, yogurt and waffles (yes, waffles).
