The place is right on the beach, room for plenty of family, everything works, rooms with great views, decent pool, friendly staff, nice cleaning staff, etc. etc. etc. We have been going to N. Padre for years and have stayed at many of the other places on the same strip of beach. This place was by far the closest to the beach. ...

Location was the greatest. Close drive to everything yet far enough so beachs were not crowded. Rooms as pictured on their site. Place was well maintained and all staff were pleasant. Public grills can get a little backed up but great spot for socializing.
Even my picky TEENAGE daughters loved the place and want to know when we can go back.

The pool is not well kept at all is small and disgusting, rooms were ok, good location it is in the center of everything, the service that the maids have provided have declined though every year and now they only provide clean towels and vacumn, they used to make the beds, do the dishes if you wanted to like put them in the dishwasher and everything, and vacumn and mop every day.

It is a wonderful location. You have a beautiful view of the water. You just walk a few feet and your on the beach. Anything you need all you have to do is ask the staff and if they don't have it they will try to find it for you. It is a very friendly and beautiful location.

not one thing you could dislike.everything was awesome with our stay.employees are the best very accommodating,oh and the view is like no other .if it rest and relaxation you want its what you will get ,if its playing in the sun and having fun its what you get. thank island house for all the good times

Semi-private beach no cars allowed on beach so its safe for children. It is set on the beach with great views. Our favorite place on the Texas coast. Very Friendly staff.

Wonderful location right on the beach -- hear the ocean waves crash outside! This is the best kept secret in Corpus Christi! Hang out on the beach all day and then come swim in the great pool or hot tub. Rooms are just like apartments -- fully equipped kitchens make your vacation a great way to save $$$ as you can cook home cooked meals rather than having to eat out!

I loved it there. Nice people. Quiet, relaxing and most of off. Right off the beach...... I have planned out trip for September 2007.
