My dad stayed here last night and at 5:15 in the morning was ransacked by two men who were armed!!! Although I realize that this could happen anywhere, it has now been more than a full business day since the robbery occured. My father had to go to the hospital and has 6 staples in the back of his head and scratches and bruises all over his body. ...

nice rooms, good golf and great food that is how the 20 golfers that I go with think about the thunderbird motor inn. We always have a good time thank you thunderbird motor Inn.

Good location for traveling I-95, but room smelled dank. Furniture was broken. Bathroom fixtures and tile crumbling. Rug was filthy and not vacuumed. Breakfast buffet was ok. I have stayed here in the pastbut will never, never return!!!Place needs a complete renovation.

Anyone that thinks this place is OK probably thinks that a double-wide trailer is equivilent to the Ritz-Carlton. I met a business colleague @ this "motel" and could not believe my eyes. All the money was spent on the towering sign outside and the "restaurant" featured cock roaches running rampant on the buffet. Skip this place... better yet, skip the entire region.

We've been staying at the Thunderbird on race weekend for 19 years. Can't beat the price, location, food, and above all the hopitality of the staff. I can't imagine going to the great Darlington track and not staying at the Thunderbird.

I stayed here on my way to Charleston, SC(I live in PA) I really did not like it. The amenities were not that great. The room had some problems and on top of everything the entire hotel is OLD!!! With it's good location, recent renovation project and great food, it's hard to beat. We have been staying at the Thunderbird each time we have made round trips between Florida and the norteast for the last seven years and highly recommend it.

We drive to Florida to spend Christmas with our folks every year. Every year, we stay at the Thunderbird. We have two golden retrievers who are always welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding! We highly recommend the Thunderbird to all!!!!!
