Compass Cove was wonderful. The kids pool was fantastic for the kids and they loved it. There was occasionally sand in the pools and sand in our room after a few days but that's to be expected with staying on the beach. I don't know what other reviewers are talking about. Staff was courteous and friendly, rooms were clean and overall it was a wonderful experience - especially if you have children.

We arrived to a lobby with dead roaches, a room with food in the microwave and a dirty bathroom! This resort should not be rated; it was as bad as a roadside motel!

I stayed compass cove with my husband and are two small children ages 6 and 4 on vacation last year and loved it! The staff was very friendly and there was as you say something for everyone there. We are going to return to myrtle beach this year and hope to stay at Compass cove.

The employees at the front desk were very rude. The did not help to solve any problems that we had and there were a few. The beds were very uncomfortable. The parking was very limited.

I have been there on several occasions,and with each stay I have been more than amazed with the staff,rooms,and accomadations.Nothing but thumbs up from me and i will be back!!!!

The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were all pleasant and friendly. Our children enjoyed the indoor pools and lazy river! Great value for the price. Will stay again.

I don't know what the other reviewers are speaking to but Compass Cove was fantastic. Every staff memeber I came in contact with was very friendly and would go out of their way for any of my needs. The breakfast buffet was top notch. The Crow's Nest restaurant was perfect for an afternoon snack and great, fun service to boot. I can go on ...

this place was nasty. i was in the bed searching the internet on my lab top to feel a bug go down my back. not only a bug in the bed but one was also on the wall. i called the front desk and all they did was move us to a different room. never again will i stay there.

The pools were dirty, especially the indoor lazy river-it was really filthy. The carpet always felt dirty and the couch and chair were very stained. People saved chairs by the pools all day long-it was very hard to find a chair after 9am. The hip hop music around the tiki lounge was very loud. The rental umbrellas set up along the beach were ...
