i liked that the place was cheap, although it is not very clean, i agree with the other posting, i always bring cleaning supplies. even the best hotels need CLOROX!!! i left my glasses, prescription, adn my phone charger there by accident, called them, and never received them in the mail as promised. that was a year ago.

The room was alright for a cheap hotel, could have been cleaner but I've seen worse. The problem was they double charged me on my Debit card and for over ten days I have been getting the run around of excuses. I will never go back there and am filing a complaint with the PA Attorney General. I have been told repeatedly that I would be called back Never Have been!! I have never been this mad at any business.

We've been coming here for 10 years and there are several things I've learned.
1. The cleanliness of 80% of hotels & motels is relative to the beholder.
2. Bring clorox wipes and disinfectant.
3. Ask to have clean sheets and towels upon arrival.
4. 50 year old motels located by a huge lake tend to attract moisture.

We have 5 kids and have been going to Erie for years. We have always stayed at the Inn at Presque Isle. The first few years were fantastic, the rooms were clean and smelled fresh, the pool area was wonderful, and the staff were more than gracious and helpful. rooms were clean staff friendly, air worked well showers worked well.beds clean. left my pillow, called that evening when I got home and they sent it to me right away. for cheap rooms it can't be beat. close to beach and fishing, eats and sunsets.will go back agian.
