4. Pool was being painted, asked about a pool when i made the reservation and they didn't tell me the pool was being painted when i checked in... poor customer service!

While it is a big motel with lots going on I would only stay again if all other motels were full. It was dirty, the corners of the room had not be vacuumed in a long time, and maybe the reason the hallways are so dark is to hide the dirt. Be certain to bring slippers because you won't want to walk in bare feet on the carpets, or sit on the bed ...

The Vegas Hotel has gotten some bad reviews from what I read but my stay was one of the most pleasent experiences I have had while traveling. The hotel in very clean and the front desk staff and house keepers were more than helpful on every level. I must say the manager went above and beyond her call to make sure I felt welcomed and accomidated. I will always stay at the Vegas when staying in Minot.

After reading these reviews, I worried about my stay at the Vegas Motel. But when it's the only room you can get, you take it. And I am pleased to say that I had a GREAT experience.
