We spent a very nice weekend on the beach at the Islander. It was clean,

safe, and priced very nice. Manager Walter was a great help.

We stayed here for almost a week, and it was awesome. The pool by the ocean with the cabanas was great. The rooms are clean, the housekeeping staff is very nice and funny!. And the front desk staff seemed to know everything about the area. It did seem to get a little loud outside one night, but the security guard took care of it. My family loves this place. Good job.

If you are from out of town (other places that do not have beaches), these suites are very nice, well kept, and worth the stay! If you are looking for a hotel with absolutely no dirt (beach sand) then go somewhere else. This is a beach hotel that is very respectful, professional, and worth the money. If you are cheap enough to book your wedding here you are looking for a short commitment, sorry, but the truth. Very fun place with lots to do.

AWFUL!! I had my wedding and reception there. The Wedding was on the beach and awesome... BECAUSE THEY HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!! It's like they didnt even acknowledge we were even there. The room was disgusting. We had to vacuum it a couple of times and wipe everything down and the mirror we had to wipe down 4 times just to get the grim ...

Stayed two nights in July, 2009. Clean, Attractive, right on the Beach. Really enjoyed staying here. Plan to go back.

Loved the way the room was set up. Very clean, friendly staff. The room had been recently updated and as you walk in has that new smell to it. I would recommend staying here and will definately stay here again.

hotel was so dirty and stunk like mold, can't believe the state health dept. permits them to rent those dirty rooms !
