Park and fly is great -- 2 minutes from the airport. Best price in the area. Very convenient. Good diner down the street.

Good option to savers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/28/07
If you do not want to pay the expensive rates in Manhattan, This hotel is a good option.
Rooms are small, but clean, tv works correctly and have their own bathroom.
Breakfast is OK, they offer: cereal, fruit, eggs, juice and coffee.
It is 30 min to Manhattan, you have to take a bus and subway.
Front desk service was excellent.

A RATS NEST!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/13/07
I stayed in the hotel (if you can call it that, it more resembled a cheap, government subsidized welfare dwelling in the worst part of town!) from Friday March 30, 2007 to Sunday April 1, 2007, WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The lobby was dank and dirty, the halls were dingy and under lit, and the room was straight up ghetto!
Shame on me, ten minutes after ...

Clarion should be ashamed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/06/07
I stayed in this hotel overnight to be close to the airport for a very early morning flight. I was not prepared for what I walked into. The entire hotel needs revamping. The room itself was ok as far as size goes, but I could see wide strips of dark dirt in the carpet all over. I wouldn't take my socks off and I may burn them.
This hotel is below average.Pillow covers were very dirty ,the color of pillow covers changed to yellow from white.Customer Service is very poor.Rooms are too small as compared to price.i reserved for 2 days ,due to some reason i wanted to saty for one night, they didnt refund me for the unused night.Internet service is very slow and gets disconnected every 2 mins.I dont recommend this hotel to any one .Go at ur own risk.

Terrible

My family and I went here for Thanksgiving. We had two teeny tiny rooms. First off let me start by saying that I made my reservation through 1-800-Hotels. I paid my full balace through them before we even arrived in NY. Tonight(11-30), I was going through my bank statements to check if I was charged for using the phone when I realized that I ...

Teeny tiny room
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/05
The room was clean, the TV worked fine, and the front desk was pleasant.
That said - this was by far the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, there was no interior chain or lock for the door, and the a/c unit went out at 6 am on a really hot day. When the rate is a good 10-20% cheaper than EVERYONE else's rate, it's probably ...

Good NYC Buy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/21/05
We often stay at the Clarion when visiting NY - hotel is across from LGA airport. Rooms are small but clean and it is a very nice hotel. There is no subway nearby but there is street and lot parking if you drive or are renting a car and plenty of taxis in the area.

Average, Affordable Accomidations
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/05
For an airport hotel, it's not bad. Check-in was very quick, however we were given a room that had not been cleaned, and still featured dirty sheets and unmade bed. We just went back down and were instantly switched with no problems. The on-site cafe didn't feature anything spectacular, but the service was very good in a very friendly ...
