Can't Be Beat in Buffalo AreaJust stayed at the Lord Amherst for 3 nights for my sons college graduation. The room was $67.00. The hotel is about 40 years old but well maintained and very clean. The all American staff is very cordial and helpful, the lobby and public breakfast area remind me of a 70s Adirondak lodge( Real slate floor, real wood walls and large beamed vaulted ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

Not glamorous, but adequate and inexpensiveThis hotel is convenient to all in the Buffalo area: airport, UB, the city itself. It is clean but old and definitely not glamorous. The wireless internet service was great. The staff were friendly. The breakfast modest but adequate.
