We stayed at the Park Central in February 2006 and enjoyed it very much. Staff was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. It had a large screen TV. We would definitely go back again.

Unfortunately, a water main break made them have to move us to the Radisson, their sister hotel. The money we spent to stay at PCNY was not adequatly compensated for by the then 3 hour wait for a new room to be assigned at the Radisson nor the double bed we ended up with as opposed to the King we paid for. One of us had to sleep on the floor. ...

This hotel had very tired rooms in serious need of renovation. Our room had paper peeling off the walls and patches all over the ceiling. The staff were not very helpful.

We transferred here from Sofitel due to availability when booking - The Sofitel was way ahead on all counts for about the same money.

Check In: Arrived early evening - easy/helpful/polite check with no queue.

I booked this hotel through their own website, which states free high-speed internet is included. I was then billed $15 at checkout for using this service. Additionally, I found the staff at the front desk to be quite rude (some people may say that's part of the New York experience).

The rooms at the Park Central are a good size for NY and the location of the hotel is decent, but the advantages stop there.

My family stayed at the Park Central Hotel and we were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed being close to Central Park.

The room was a little smaller that we're used to, but I believe that's true of Manhatten hotels anyways. We would consider staying there again.
