Hotel has not been renovated or repaired since the fifties.
Mold, mildew, bugs, fould odors and this was in the better rooms in the Towers.
They should be ashamed.

We couldn't wait to leave.

I have to agree with other writers - we were there August of 2009 and this is an old, old place that charges like a new place. i was very disappointed. Dirty smelly, not kept up.

We just spent 2 nights this past weekend. What a disgusting place.
As soon as you enter lobby, it smells moldy and mildew. We had to ask for wash cloths. Wallpaper all over the place is coming off. Grounds are not kept. Food was just okay. but what they charge is even more disgusting. Plus a surcharge for per person for everything. what rip. 2 ...

The place was shabby. The ceilings were leaking and falling down. We had no hot water every other day. The food is disgusting and the waiters/waitress are very moody and aren't their for you. Nasty rundown rooms and facilities, rude staff, inedible food and the whole place was dirty and smelled bad.

This place is 30 years overdue for a renovation.

What a disappointment! Watch your jewelry, especially at checkout. Mine was taken and I am devastated. Never again!!!! My room was never made up and I had to call for towels. The grounds were run-down and there were no modern conveniences that you might expect. The food was plentiful and mostly okay. There are no words to describe the show. In the old days, it would have been the late, late show.

I stayed here for a long vacation just about at the end of the Catskill heyday, in the early 70's. Back then, it was terrific! Things were hopping, and well kept. The food was icky back then, too (we used to joke about the subgum tuna fish chow mein) but it was fresh and kept you going for all the activities.
