The front desk staf was excellent and very friendly and accomodating. The only problem was that our room was not clean! The toilet was filthy and the tub was dirty. I thought after day one they would take care of it but that did not happen - luckily I travel with Clorex spray!!! I should have complained but was just too tired from the trip.

A good hotel centrally located in downtown Amsterdam, two minutes off the Thruway. The Hotel has all the expected amenities.
The beds, like most hotels could be more comfortable.

We stay here in the fall and spring frequently. The rooms are ok and generally quiet for the most part - if you stay on the North side of the property. South side is noisy with Amtrack trains running by all night. The down side, is that the location - close to the Thruway, is in downtown Amsterdam - a dark, seedy area which is still crime infested. ...

Nice older hotel right in the middle of downtown. Well maintained clean comfortable rooms. High speed internet access. The pool was closed because it is solar heated and they had not had enough sun shine to heat to a safe level. Only 2/3 the cost of motels in Albany and Schenectady yet easily twice as nice and only 20 to 30 minutes away.

I hosted a powerlifting meet in November, and the Best Western gave us a great package for our lifters to stay. They had an awesome breakfast buffet. The rooms were nice and inexpensive. Everyone loved the hotel and the service.They even kept the bar open later than usual for our post-meet shenanigans, and even had karaoke.

I have one word to describe this place great, the people were very kind, My man Thomas at the front desk thanks alot by the way for all your help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, big and enjoyable. Thanks alot for everything and this is a great place to stay, can't wait to go out there again and stay there. Theres not much to do out there tho cause its so small but albany is only 20 mins away.

The staff was very friendly. We were looking for inexpensive lodging with annenities while traveling from Boston back home to Iowa & were pleasantly surprised with the experience. Would stay here again. Good value for the price. I've paid alot more & gotten much less!
