The lobby was beautiful, but the rooms are nothing to write home about. There was no refrigerator in the room. My tub was clogged no one came to fix it. If you want a place to stay in that area do yourself a favor and choose another hotel. They fool you by the beautiful entrance. That's why the price is so high.

This hotel is beautiful- and clean, top on my list of necessities. Also, the bistro food is excellent and the hotel provides a very nice shuttle service.

Genesee Grand is a wonderful hotel, it is beautifully remodeled, the staff was polite, the rooms were very clean the beds very comfortable the linen was very clean, overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you won't be dissapointed. I loved my stay and I had a nice peacefull sleep....

I spent a weekend in the hotel, and while it looks nice, that's about the extent of things. If a hotel wants to be high end, it has to act high end, which is not the case here. The service was excellent. The front desk was friendly and quick to handle any requests we made. The shuttle driver's were top notch and very courteous.

I was surprised at how great the hotel was. I was welcomed from a long trip with a room that was relaxing and well appointed. I cant believe how big these rooms are. Free internet and a great restaurant. I am definitely going back.

The hotel itself is beautiful but don't expect a restful stay.
Dogs are welcome but apparently people take a back seat. Forget a nap as it sounded like a kennel on a recent visit. The staff was sympathetic and polite but could only offer apologies for all the noise.

great place i will go back, good service, excellent food in the restaurant, hotel staff is very nice and helpfull, clean rooms beatiful baths, a very differnt place very calm atmosfera, i have to visist syracuse in december i will stay again!!!!!!
