My first time there and I should have listen to some of the other postings. This place needs a customer friendly manager ..not a owner who cares less about its patrons. I would never take my family there again ..would rather stay at a motel off the lake. BTW, my neighbors share the same sentiments.

We've stayed at Alpine Village 3 times with our children. We have stayed in the main lodge, a duplex cabin and the guest house. Each time had a wonderful vacation. The pool was chilly one year, but always open. Our kids have food allergies and they were very accomodating in the restaurant.

I loved this place!! The cabins are cozy with fireplaces and the breakfasts are great. When we went in mid-September for the ADK car show it was awesome!! The beach had a gorgeous view of the fireworks from town and it's only a short drive to town. We can't wait to go back!!

Fantastic cabins, we got the two nearest the lake shore. Real fireplaces in cabins, very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location, very peaceful. Noticed quite a few reviewers not keen on the owner's wife, but she was very friendly and helpful to us. They've had some recent severe storm damage, but will have it repaired before the summer season kicks off. Great value at $69 per cabin per night (off-season).
