We chose this hotel because it had everything we needed for a family fun vacation, summer 2008. We could have overlooked the shabby, old furniture and bedding, but the mold in the bathtub was disgusting. It was so bad that I scraped mold off the bottom of the toilet tank into a cup and presented it to the manager. She told me that she had rented ...

Lets see, where to begin.
The bedrooms are right off the hallway. What makes this bad is that the hallway is enclosed, so every sound is magnified and and amplified. So every time the hallway door is closed or someone leaves their room, it is very LOUD.
The bathrooms need a severe makeover. They are very old. My son put the soap on the ...
I was part of a tour that went in October 07. The hotel has beautiful ocean views, but the rooms definitely need a makeover and the bathroom was extremely small & really outdated. Location of room was off the deep end and we had to pass an employee working room to get to our room. The meals at their restaurant, which were part of package, were terrible. And so was the service.

Spent four day there in October 2007 as part of a militry reunion with meals and other activities offered by the motel. Very personable staff, well qualified and knew their business. Clean, Quite, great food. Planning a return in 2008 with our extended family. Rooms are spacious and work great for a couple or a family.

September & it felt like summer!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/02/07
We usually stay at the Atlas in the spring. We felt we needed to get away and so we called for reservations. The Atlas was pretty booked so instead of an efficiency we got what they call a deluxe room. I never cook anyway, so we saved $10.00. We were on the 3rd floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean and the dolphins swimming each day. the ...

Can't wait till next summer.

Stayed at the Atlas in late August. The check in staff was great. They gave us a parking permit because we arrived at 8:30 AM, told us where the changing rooms were, we got changed and went to the beach. I was passing through the lobby about 1 PM and was told our room was ready and I didn't even ask! The girl remembered my name and in we ...
I took my chances on staying at this hotel for a fun girls' weekend with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. What a mistake!!!
For $200 a night, I was expecting to at least be staying a decent place in a comfortable room. It looks as if the rooms have never been updated - or the mattresses, I went home with a horrible backache after ...

the location is great, right across the street from the beach and the pool and the outside bar were also really nice... the breakfast that was included was also pretty good.. no complaints here..
Took a shot in the dark and decided to book our stay at the beach at the Atlas Inn, having never stayed here before and only having read reviews on Yahoo! Travel. We were pleasantly surprised! Service was wonderful - Housekeeping gave us the option of sleeping in and having room cleaned later; no hassle when asked. We were located on the 6th ...
This place is great! My family and I have been qoing here for quite some time. We love the view, the location, the restaurant, the pool, the service and the rooms are great too. On year we went to a different beach and kept comparing it to Cape May and the Atlas Inn. We only go here now. Sure, like everything else the rates go up, but it is worth ...
