Very pleasant view of the White Mountains. Hotel only serves breakfast and dinner (starting at 5:30) and seemingly a great deal of tour bus traffic.
The general manager and hotel front desk staff were not very helpful. In fact, one member of the front desk staff on Tues. 10/7 was more concerned with helping her grade school aged daughter (also ...
MY WIFE AND I LOVE T & C , THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND ARE PRO'S. BEEN STAYING HERE EVERYTIME WE COME TO THE WHITE MTS. 10YEARS NOW. WE GOT MARRIED IN GORHAM. A GREAT TOWN . WILL BE BUYING A 2ND HOME NEAR HERE . GOT TO KNOW THE OWNER OF THE T&C A REAL PRO. LOOKING FORWARD TO DO SOME ATV-RIDING WITH HIM IN THE NEAR FURTURE, ONCE AGAIN THE TOWN AND COUNTRY IS THE PALCE TO STAY AMOTHER PLUS IS THAT ALLOW PETS IN ONE PART OF THE INN.
The hotel was very nice. The room was a good size and clean. The bathroom was small and I didn't necessarily feel that it was 100% clean. The shower curtain felt a little slimy but otherwise, it was fine. The room was very quiet--maybe because it was the end of the season. The location was beautiful--nestled in the White Mountains.
Upon trying to sign in early, I found that the front desk was helpful. Knowing that the room was not ready yet, they called housekeeping and told them we wanted to check in early so to clean the room for us soon. The room, had two double beds and was pretty decent in size. The carpets were a little dated. At dinner that night, our waitress was ...
I've been going to this hotel with my dad every summer since i was two, im 18 now and going with my boyfriend. wouldn't stop coming for the world i love it
The we stayed in were dirty, and despite our request were not cleaned while we were there. The hot tub and the sauna were apparently in disrepair as the temperature never rose above tepid, even after turning them on high and coming back latter. Okay location, but not worth staying here.
We stayed here from 1/15/2007 to 1/17/2007. The room was dirty and the toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. When we booked we were told there was a free breakfast, when we arrived we were informed that there wasn't. When we asked the manager about this she was confrontational and rude. We asked that the offer be honored ...
I have no complaints about the Town and Country. I loved it. The rooms are perfect size. The food was wonderful. The pool and hot tub was clean and not crouded. I was never bored the entire trip.
This place no matter when I go for diner or brunch I always leave SICKER THEN THE DOG. The serivce is less the acceptable also. I stayed here once and once was more then enough, to much for a outdated room and sheets that made you itch all night. Stay Clear!!!
